I don't know. I taped this off of the old HSE network. I never lived in the area where the matches were held.

do you have any more of SAPW?
This was owned by George Scott who booked the WWF in 84-86.
I really thought this promotion was going ot take off.

I do somewhere. I know I have a match with Chris Chavis before he became "Tatanka".

I live in the Carolinas where the promotion was based. It was great!! It kind of picked up where Mid Atlantic left off after WCW permantly moved to Atlanta. Lots of great new and old talent. Alot of the guys that didnt make the move when turner bought the nwa went here. George Scott was the booker. I wish there was more of the lost promotion on here.

Yeah i remember watching this show on like ESPN or some channel like that back in the early 90's, it came on after Global Wrestlings show which had the 123 kid, Patriot and others and South Atlantic had Tatanka.

When it started off as the NAWA, this promotion was very impressive. Behind the scenes were many ex JCP guys and they had great production values. Then the name changed, the budget went down and it just floundered. Here in Charlotte it had an ever rotating TV schedule which didn't help at all in terms of building an audience.

How long did it stay in business?
They ran a show in Myrtle Beach and it brought in a large crowd .
