a beautiful technology that others could never imagine !! ....bravo sony!!

@eVerlastingTenrai From experience, these are actually really good at night. No question, there is a slight light loss through to the sensor in DSLT, but put it in perspective... Sensors used on cameras this year offer substantially better low light performance than even last years models (just look at ISO noise performance), so there is a balance there. Multi-frame noise reduction helps, but If you're especially concerned about the low light shooting, check out the DSL*R* version - the A580

Great review, very clear but I have a couple questions Im sure you just didnt have time since it was so much information to go over.
Whats the record time? Like on the canon and nikon its 20 minutes for video.
Is there a Mic input?
What manual control do you have in video mode?
I have a NEX5 and a D5100 neither sporting any manual mode in video, well the nikon you can mess with the aperture but its a pain.
Thanks for posting a great video!

Translucent technology is the trend. But digital viewfinder can improve. I have tested an A55 unit at sonystyle on the other day. Impressive. But for the time being, I will stick to my A350 while waiting for second or third generation translucent units.

@iHateToRegister Thanks for your comment. Let me know what sorts of accessories you're after - there are quite a few, but if you have any specific ideas I'm happy to pass them onto our product engineers.

@sonylearntv Oh, what about a battery grip (or some kind of "extension" for people with bigger hands *g*)? And a programmable cable release would be nice, too. And a few more lenses between "cheap and not-so-good quality" and "horribly inexpensive" would enrich the product portfolio ...

@iHateToRegister No probs - one of the focuses of these cameras was making them compact but a battery grip, in particular, does get requested from time-to-time... I'll pass your comments on.

I agreed with SuperFusioX although I think he could be nicer in his review. The reviewer seemed to be from maybe England, Scotland or some part of UK. And i do agree that if you want to give a review to reach the masses, you should have at least someone who speak proper english. Pronouncing lens as "lins" was hilarious to me. It was a pain trying to follow the review properly.

@GeniusFusion and SuperFusioX Thanks for both your comments, and taking the time to watch the video. I'm actually from New Zealand, where English is an official language and (I think most NZers would agree) is spoken quite properly here. It's a lovely place to visit and all the people are very friendly, and understand that when an American asks for a "laans" for their digital SLR it's just their accent and not an inability to speak English...
