A new series of videos where I look at the Apple products that were not a commercial success, beginning with the Quicktake series of digital cameras.

  • Lol you tried playing down film photography by showing a Leica. Any photographer will know you went kind of backwards on that.

  • @mgwooley I hardly think I tried to play down film photography. Its simply a statement of fact that its rare to see film cameras today. By the way, I own two Leicas, so I'm aware of their quality, and shoot on film nearly everyday with a Canon AE-1.

  • So that's why Kodak is suing Apple...........

  • I have all three QuickTake camera models. The 100 & 150 have an interesting compression algorithm that makes images look like a watercolour painting. If you have an old Apple with serial ports I highly recommend getting one off eBay.

The QuickTake 200 was my 'main' camera for several years. Images look like video stillframes. Not the greatest camera but if you can get a card reader that takes 5v SmartMedia it's still usable and it have video out for use as a webcam.

  • I recommend, buy a better mic

  • I would like to see a Digital SLR such as Nikon or Canon but with apple software on, or the same with video cameras Sony or JVC but with apple software.

  • @pivoteer971 well its been a year...where is it? xD

  • i wanted to see what the pictures looked like from it.

  • @MattsMacintosh How much for a Quicktake 100? I use a MacBook Pro so I don't need compatibility. Thanks, your fan, RS73private.

  • @nicdem25 no... there is a different person named AppleSoldier.

  • @fortifythamind You mean SoldierKnowsBest?

  • I'm not the biggest fan of apple.... but i like this guy. He isn't ignorant like applesoldier
