I love Newfoundlands! I have 2 and they are the most amazing dogs I have ever had in my life.

Those dogs have an impermeable fur...So,you just have to dry it with a towel and he will be all dry.

my current dog (a newfoundland) is the best dog i have ever had except for one. My parents got a puppy mastiff that was about 3 months old when i was a year old. THAT was the best dog ever. i miss him :'(

I live on a lake and am contemplating "adopting" a newfoundland, however I wonder if anyone could comment on how long it takes them to dry after a swim....in other words, how difficult would it be to get them ready to come back in the house after getting wet?

I love this dogs! I had one, but he already passed away...I thinking to get another newfie...but i just can't stop thinking about my newfie that passed away because he was an excelent dog =)
