Sheriff's Sikorsky Takeoff LA3D 2009

The Sheriff's department brought out their big helicopter to the event for a show-n-tell landing and take off for the LA3D 2009 event. They stayed for about 2 hours and the pilot of the Sikorsky even was flying via buddy-box a full-blown .90-class R/C helicopter for the crowd. His job isn't easy but he got a glimpse that ours isn't either. Special thanks to the Sheriff's Department for showing their support to the event and we hope to see another grand entrance like that again in the future as it grew quite a crowd.

I always wondered how a real helicopter pilot would fly an R/C heli the first time. :)
