After i watched The Lodger i just felt in love with this amazing actor and composer so i decidet to dedicate this video i made for him with the song "Speening the Wheel" by Goerg Michal hope you like it

I don't know I did'nt care for it at the beginning but the song grows on you after awhile and I like to think Ivor would've gotten into contemporary music because I feel he was a contemporary guy. I just got into him myself thru the same film. Nice complilation of shots of this fascinating man. Thanks for putting this up!

Many thanks for making this video tribute. Like you, I wanted to know more about Ivor Novello after watching The Lodger. Your video provided a terrific foundation for remembering and learning about this comparatively little-known star.

Your video is terrific; the music is terrible. You can find plenty of songs that Novello composed; why not use one of those? "Glamourous Night", for instance, or "Waltz of my Heart with Vanessa Lee. Listen to his voice in "My Dearest Dear". My mother was raised on his music, and so was I. I gave her a framed autographed photograph of him for Christmas many years ago. Plenty of choices here on YouTube. Thanks for the memories!
