To be fair..Thompson is at present not an office holder like Obama or Clinton. So he was not privy to the latest insider tint and texture as some others, but was not a absolutist blockhead like Rudy. He hedged, but remember this is a man that lobbied for a pro-choice group at one time..and was a Prosecutor in real life, not just for Dick Wolfe....

Fred Thompson needs to remain an actor. He bypasses the question. Imho bypassing the question is the same as saying NO I wont do nothing to change anything.
