Kyle, 5, Emma, 4, and Katie, 2, Coble died on May 4 2007 after a crash when a tractor-trailer slammed into the back of the family's 2006 Chrysler Town & Country minivan on the southbound Santa Ana (I-5) Freeway north of Oso Parkway in Mission Viejo.

The three Coble kids were in the back of the minivan, strapped into car and booster seats. Mother Lori Coble, 30, was driving. Grandmother Cynthia Maestri, 60, was in the front passenger seat. Both women were released from Mission Hospital on Thursday.

Katie and Kyle were taken to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo. Katie died just before 2 p.m. Emma died minutes later at Saddleback Memorial Hospital in Laguna Hills. Kyle died later that night in his mother's arms.
