  • Yeah, the cinematography is mahvelous. Breath-taking.

    Thanks for the clip.

  • can anyone please tell me how they did the shot of the train pushing forward the dolly -- wouldn't the impact of the train be to heavy en wreck anything in it's way, let along a camera? or is it CGI?

  • @DBMalone Amen to that!

  • @MegaOsaro You mean this film actually screened in your area? ;-) I wanted to see it in the worst way, but had to wait for DVD on Netflix. Now even the History Channel (which, let's face it... rarely shows any history now) is showing the film. I guess the theaters in Syracuse had to make room for the latest release of some useless action/thriller which was probably forgotten the minute it left the theater.

  • @Avatarare I have to agree. This is one of the most outstanding cinemagraphic scenes I've ever seen. I can't even imagine how someone would be able to get a shot like that. The film should have gotten the Oscar for cinematography on this scene alone, never mind the rest of the film which was also outstanding.

  • I don't really like this movie, but this scene is perfect

  • then you're fucking stupid?

  • fort edmonton park train.

  • This is why Roger Deakins got nominated for an Oscar for Best Cinematography
