Stand-Up Comedy Is HARD: All Around Losing (Episode 2)

In the second episode of "All-Around Losing," Harry attempts to follow in the footsteps of Louis CK and other schmucks-turned-idols by trying to become a stand-up comic. He starts at the very, very bottom, subjecting himself to NYC's brutal open-mic night scene, and quickly discovers that 1) making people laugh is nightmarishly difficult and 2) he is no good at it. It's funny to watch him fail, but not ha-ha funny.

Cha-Chas is not a comedy club - it's just a shitty Little Italy restaurant that used to host a tiny open mic on Wednesdays before that was shut down. They don't even have a stage. That guy Cha Cha isn't even a "comedy guru" - he was just some dude who played an extra in a handful of mobster films.

What is wrong with ppl fooling themselves into thinking that Louie CK is good? He may have written a few decent things but his stand up and shows are awful. How long can ranking on your self stay funny? Also those shows of his keep getting canceled for a reason.
