I started drumming today

This was the first time ever in my life to play drums. I booked a practice room for 2 hours and this is how it went.

As you know from playing other instruments, it's all about "counting in your head". Hey don't forget the hi-hat pedal. I know you're a lefty, but you should try "righty setup". Why? Your left will hit the snare, and your right will hit the hihat. As far as your feet? They will learn. Another advantage is if you go into a music store and bang on drums it's already set-up. If you try to re-arrange the salesman will get mad. Aye.

haha nice work. looks better than my first time playing i know. keep at it, it will come quickly. if you can manage lessons, i'm sure they are helpful. i only ever took one lesson. i would have liked to take more, just didn't have the time. i mostly taught myself by listening to and learning songs i liked, and watching stuff on youtube/other instructional videos.
