  • I am so glad I found your video - I thought I was missing something but now I see it's quite a job. Good work...

  • OMG!!! Thsi just happened to me! The bulb broke in the socket! GE what were you thinking! Thanks for the video, now I know what to do. URG!!!

  • Good video.

    But ALWAYS unplug the oven or turn off its breaker FIRST or the filaments can short to the base of the lamp internally, sending a surge through the control board.

    This surge can damage the board so that the cooktop lights and/or fan no longer work or will not turn off.

    Then you'll need me to repair your board for you.
