There are sooo many awesome Canadian bands that don't get the international recognition they deserve... Big Sugar, Tea Party, Dalbello, The Trews... then we get known as the home of Justin Bieber, Avril, Nelly F... such a strange business when talent like this gets virtually ignored to the south.

They are one of the sexiest bands to dace to!

Yeah that's right kids, this is what us Canadians were treated to during the 90s when radio stations in other countries couldn't be bothered. Check out their albums, they're like ZZ top.. it's night and day between the radio and album. Epic jams, humongous grooves.
BTW Gordie is pure bred Canadian. Born in Ontario somewhere, these days he rocks the house in Austin but I believe he still maintains his ranch in Alberta.

anyone has Big Sugar's filmed from frenchkiss show in 1998 when he introduced this and other of his songs 'in french' I'd love to hear his charming accent. His presence was so fine. I love Gordie's mind.
