  • man this is too simple i mean just a few days back i gave grade 3 as i thought 4 might be difficult but it was simple and i got 83 in total so why do u bother to do the first grade exams??

  • @sidthecoooool Confidence I suppose, I agree it is really easy but like everything its only easy if you know how.

Grade 6 player now studying for grade 7 and I am still glad I did them!

Could just sight read them now.

  • solid timing and great phrasing.

    5 stars from me

  • im learning this in guitar leassons

  • was the group c riff hard and were u neverus im haveing my exsam end of the week so can u give me some pointers

and by the way all mark u 20/20 it was great

  • i learnt that piece when i was in grade 1, i was take the exam but my guitar teacher said we could just skip it coz it wont really matter once youre on higher grades. so instead he taught us a jimi hendrix song n moved our group straight to grade 4 coz he said we picked things up really quickly on guitar

  • start of it is based on do the walkabout by the red hot chili peppers

  • i picked this one for my grade 1 too along with head on and gotta lotta rosa :)

  • Pento all the way.

Found a very easy way of remebering the relitive minor of a key. Say something is G, take the G note and move back 4 fretts and you at E....thats the relitive minor.

Do the same thing with C and the relitive minor is A. BINGO!!

Easy to remeber. Works a treat!

  • Not yet, I'm hoping to take it soon though :)

Can I ask, what did you do in your improvisation? Did you stick with the first position of the A-minor penetonic scale?
