All I can tell you is that when BOA first hit it big... like back when they played their first Overton Park Shell gig in Memphis, there gas been no band since then that rocked any better. And I have seen and heard a lot of bands in my day.
For you folks who are not familiar with the Overton Park Shell, it is now called the Levitt Shell. Back in the early 1970s, the Shell was a musical mecca of the big rock bands of the day.

great! i had the fortune of making it to three BOA shows this year and they all totally ruled. look em up on facebook/reverbnation etc and go party with em as soon as you can, they sound great!

I'm just amazed that through all his health problems and age, Jim Dandy Mangrum's voice is still so strong and awesome. Saw them back in the late 70's and would love to see them again.

Thanks ! I was curious about these guys. Such a good band they were when they started out. Saw them in New Jersey in 1971 or so.
