When I fist ate black sticky rice I was so disgusted by the taste and how it looked ;taught it looked like little ants or insects xD But now I haven't eaten it for such a long time I'm curious again an wanna try it. :p

I was wondering if u add salt to your custard beacuse I am from Thailand and I was taught to add salt to coconut dessert so it will bring out the richest in it

also.. mine was steamed, dose that do something to the texture or something?

When you steam, the texture is light. Thai and Lao custards are steamed. When you bake, the texture is rich. If it tastes like scrambled egg, you probably missed a step. Full instructions are on my web site.
