Bill Moyers comments on Howard Zinn's passing.

As post script I added a few words, a standing ovation, and a pic from the last time I spoke with him, back in Nov.

R.I.P Howard. We'll keep fighting.

  • @calipatriots you are certainly a great american aren't you?

  • Howard Zinn is a Communist. Thank God he's burning in the hell.

  • howard was a wonderful man --it is too bad that Bill's show is no longer on TV

  • SO powerful!

  • Damn, I can't believe Zinn is dead. It actually happened just a couple of miles from my house. RIP.

  • So, because they were there in your "time of need" that means there's a God? Moron.

  • I was lucky to have seen him speak a few years ago. He truly inspired me. Thank you Howard for helping see things I didn't let myself see before. Knowledge is power! Only we can find our own truth. And doing nothing is not an option. He will be missed.

  • @andyx1205 I think that torch of responsibility will be passed on to us. No one lives forever but civilization will. It's the intellectuals responsibility to defog and enlighten, and it's our responsibility to educate ourselves to become intellectuals.
