  • What a crock...Have you ever tried applying for one of these SEC positions? The barriers to getting an application in are incredible and then there are no responses and then withouth further word, a note that the position is closed. They don't want talent, they want cronies.

  • They periodically will get a small fish for insider trading but the most damaging problem is High Frequency Trading. Average American investors are getting raped and pillaged by the Goldman's and Hedge funds of the world that operate these on a daily basis extracting constant profit from their steamroller strategies. Millions in contributions from the Exchanges to CONgress will never level the playing field.

  • If the SEC is so concerned and on top of the bad buys, why did they miss Madoff?

  • While the SEC claims to be responsive to complaints of fraud, this is really not true. The fact is that the SEC protects the largest criminals, while policing the small guys in order to give the impression that it is doing its job. In reality, the SEC has become a complete joke and an accomplice in fraud committed by Wall Street.
