  • Its a great song in every respect: maybe Colin Hay was just just too concerned not to drop a note and so made sure he delivered. Pity as it rocks and the whole joint should be jumping to this classic ska-rock song. Guitar solo to die for - well played that man!

  • Colin Hay the lead singer looked pretty intense and focused to me... He wanted to give a good rendering. He managed to do that. A flawless performance in my view. Perhaps lack of enthusiasm comes from being on the road and performing two or three concerts a day. It'll knock any person out!

Having said that, raulisea, your are right... I just think it's hard to look super excited all the time given the demands of the biz. Being a star is hard on a person! Very hard.

  • @real80smusic

i think that the police are still underrated and few people appreciate the fine subtleties of their music.

  • This was arguably one of the best concerts I've ever seen, even if I only did see it on TV on Nickelodeon (before it went mainstream) when it aired in late 1983. I have a lot of fond memories of watching it and it made me a Men at Work fan.
