Im thinking of buying a cobalt ss but i dont know if i should go turbo or supercharged. I dont want maintenance except for the regular oil changes etc, just which ever one is more reliable. Which ever one uses less fuel is a determining factor aswell. If there is anyone that has lots of knowledge on this and can let me know, that would be great. Thank you! Cheers!

@rexoverbey Or you could buy a TC that is built properly, instead of screwing around with an LS. You know for a fact that my TC will be worth 3 times as much as your modified LS when its time to sell. Nobody wants your hacked base model car.

@rexoverbey The only 4 door ss that sucks is the NA one made in 2006 for a year or two. I have a job where I where a suit to work everday. The two door is a teenager car. The TC Sedan was only made in 2009 and are very rare. There is nothing sexier than a fast 4-door. Get your stuff right kid. BTW.. The LSJ will never be better than any LNF. A little Naive on your end to think the TC coupe is better than lsj, but turbo sedan is not..Only a 40 pound difference kid. Good Night and Good luck

Koni S&S, swaybars, pedders and you would already be handling better than a SS/TC for next to nothing. For the money you spent on SS/TC over LS you could build a real forged bottom end, built top end, 3" exhast, handling mods, interior/exterior mods, and still have enough money to take YOUR g/f out for a steak dinner (cuz ur ass is to broke). On top of that have cheaper insurance to boot ;p
Plus the pride of knowing it didn't come off the lot built. :)

Dude I would rather have kept the SS/SC and worked on it then get a 4-door sedan. Who wants a fast 4-door granny car. Turbo LSJ > 4-door LNF anyday.

@FiredUpZ28 I don't know about every year but i can tell you the 07 LS came with the Saab 5speed Trans, and after market suspension upgrades tend to be better then what GM gives the SS/TC and the 2.2 can handle far most boost on the block then the 2.0 block can.

@FiredUpZ28 lol wtf are you talking about
-
Add a turbo on top of the ss/sc twincharged is the shit!
-
@demetrios77 Two words turbo swap.
turbo LS will still never be what the factory turbo car is. You'd have to completely change the front and rear suspension and get the Saab 5 speed trans, its a waste of money modding an LS. A factory turbo car will be faster, handle better, and be more reliable than a turbo base model.
