every time I log in I get "connected with 120.0.0.1 waiting for welcome message...

@bobsaget121 - i have but it still won't work... If i contact my ISP will they say yeah you need to do this and that or will they say we csn't help you because we don't accept this? Thanks, by the way my IPod won't let me "reply". Oh and to the owner of the video I accidently pressed the flag button, it is close to the comment button :( but I doubt Youtube cares.

You may be able to check on the XAMPP website, I use stand alone FTP server instead of XAMPP. ;)

Dewd, how do I make it so someone not on my local network access my files? I have tried connecting from iPod and it works fine but I need to use 127.0.0.1 or 192.168.2.51 ~> I know my IP address and it never connects, nothing is there. Can you help me out?

If you are trying to access from a remote system you may have to forward your ports through the router. ;)

If your going through the same router you SHOULD use your LAN IP
