  • i have a lumiz zs3 and i am not able to upload videos to you tube because they are in quick time format ... what can i do to be able to upload them ?

  • Hey stakbrown80, YouTube does accept quicktime (.mov) files -- every video I have uploaded has been quicktime including several directly from my Lumix ZS3. I don't know why you are having troubles -- I hope it works out for you.

  • What the camera really does is to make things a lot far away of what they really are (when it is on 1x) and then when you zoom in up to 12 x you can only get as close as you would normally see with your own eyes without any camera. I don't know if i made myself clear. What a big dissapointment about that.

  • The camera has a wide angle lens (at 1X), so that may give you the impression that it makes things seem a lot farther away -- however, having a wide angle lens is usually a highly desired feature. I must respectfully disagree with you that the 12X zoom is equivalent to the human eye's magnification, because it is incredibly powerful.

  • maybe you should think about macro your camera to try get some clearer video

  • Sorry about the vid quality -- unfortunately I had to use my "old" Sony camera to film the new Lumix unboxing. Too bad I couldn't film using the new Lumix, because the video quality of it is spectacular.

You can see the Lumix vid quality by checking out my other (more recent) videos.

  • Where is the USB port?

  • One small correction, that L is not the Leica logo, it is the Lumix logo. It appears on all Lumix cameras whether the lens says Leica or not.

  • I couldn't agree more.

The shutter button should have been where the dial selector is. It's a minor annoyance which one will quickly get used to. I LOVE the camera.

    Great review BTW! :)
