Les Derviches Tourneurs- Tekke soufi à Istambul

Qui sont ce derviches
pions anachroniques
qui insistent à tourner
Le bras ouverts
la tête ballant
un pas dans un pace
pas de ce monde
Si contraire
aux pas de ce monde
Ce rythme pourtant de l'univers
tels qu'ils le conçoivent
n'arrête jamais
la jupe s'envole
créant du vent
créant du temps
pour ne jamais s'arrêter
Ses pieds veulent dire Allah
quatre-vingt dix fois
et même cent
pas dans ce temps
qui n'est pas de ce monde
La sueur coule
le temps s'écoule
mais ils ne pressent pas
le pas
Obligeant le monde a aller moins vite
sans même s'en soucier
Il paraît que c'est de l'extase

Salam aleikum wa rahmatullah,

Moving head left to right is not the most efficicent way to get closer to Allah.

The question is... is the prophet Mohammad has done that and did the compagnions have done that, did the family of the prophet has done that, is the majority of scholar (the scientfical community) approved such behavior.

The fact that it is not the case is enough for me to not do it. Why would I concentrate my effort on something that I am not even sure it's good to do it!

Thanks for this beautiful video - this dance is a deep connection with God and I love the Sufism, the mystic arm of Islam.
