  • @fishbones23 Hi, It's a thing I made up on the day - looks like I used Cm Pentatonis 1st position at the 8th fret. Then a double bend on a G note using 15th fret E string and banding 18th fret B string at same time. Is that any use to you?

  • dude your really, really good. When you went from jazz to metal i was like whoa lol

  • LOL. Thanks man. I just checked out your vids too - so well planned and put together. Very cool. Peace.

  • @samdathi You are right -- this was very useful. I've been playing acoustic guitar for several decades, but only recently picked up my first electric guitar. This was a great overview of the pickups and gave me several ideas from which to start and from which to experiment. Thank-you richard.

  • lol i play punk rock post grunge kinda music. when i put to the "first humbucker" it sounds real bassy and still has a kinda roar to it(i use that for the intros and calm verse, then when i switch to lever all the way down to the "2nd humbucker" it explodes.. what i'm asking in short... is there a way i can get a kinda "linky" sound for when i'm in the first humbucker for when i'm playing the versus of my songs? or do i just have to get an effect pedal? (which is what i'm getting ready to do)

  • @richarddeyn cool, do you think it is important to know the fretboard off by heart or the scales (pentatonic) therefor it is no use.

  • I need a fender

  • Hi there how do you remove the buzz sound when using distortion on les paul gibson guitar with 2 pic?

  • very nice lesson, explains very well the difference between the different sounds :)
