How to Chroma Key in Sony Vegas Pro 10 & After Effects Cs5 [Tutorial]

In this video you will learn how to properly execute the so called green screen effect (chroma keying) in either Sony Vegas Pro 10 and / or Adobe After Effects cs5.

Chroma keying is best done in after effects mainly because of how much more powerful the plug in is (keylight 2.0). In Sony Vegas Pro 10 i decided to go with the default plug in called "Sony Chroma Keyer", I am aware that there are plugins by NewsBlueFX and borris you could use. I went through this tutorial as swiftly as I could without decreasing descriptive events as always if there is any feedback or questions please let me know :)

@vzarou You can't really compare the two, after effects is mainly all about doing motion graphics, effects and all that stuff. Sony Vegas is more just composting. For special effects, after effects is better, for compositing after effects has it's sister application called Premiere Pro. Both sony vegas and after effects are essential if you edit.
