If you want your coil fork to work as softly as mine works, I recommend you to add some 10W motor oil into each leg. 30-50ml will be enough.
Not bad for a 100$ fork I think :)
I also recommend SR Suntour XCR. It is also very good, cheap and soft fork.
Good luck.

PS: Don't pay attention to those strange sounds... it's not the fork. It is rubber on wheels, my slippers and brake pads. Fork makes only little "click" sound when it comes back to normal position.
