  • I think we should order the leaders of Israel to be arrested for war crimes. They should be in the Hague criminal court.

  • It's interesting that the man whom is currently the biggest blockade to bring peace to the middle East just won the Nobel prize for peace. Just goes to show that Nobel has lost all prestige and is nothing more than an elite group that likes to reward it's elite friends.

  • It's the tail wagging the dog again watch Israel's Netanyahu Slaps Peace & US Across The Face

  • You want peace, and I am sure of it. We all do, because we are sensible people. But Israel has proven that it has too many internal issues to settle the conflict. The conflict has been used as a political tool by both Israeli and Arab politicians.

It is true that crimes come from both sides, but Israel's are orders of magnitude greater than the Palestinians'. This has been proved by countless reports by international and Israeli agencies. Check out Chomsky vs Dershowitz and make up ur own mind!

  • Do you really think that sort of bs is sustainable. Its gone on too long. Israel was right to defend its citizens and showed the highest accord and standard compared to any military conflict in history.

I want peace. I've wanted peace my whole life. Both sides have much work to do. Israel actually has provided more aide to Gaza since disengagement than anybody last I checked. No state has to open its border to a hostile state next to it. Israel does plenty & offers more to Gaza than anybody.

  • And nobody can argue that it was not for days and days of thousands of rockets and mortars being showered upon and targeting Israeli citizens was the reason for the Israeli response.

Its not about whether the hamas rockets killed 1 person. Their intentions were to commit as much damage as possible. To inflict pain and terror on innocent civilians in Israel.

  • The truce was broken, like i said, by both sides in repeated incidents. Part of the deal was to allow an opening of Israel's blockade on Gaza, which also did not happen.

Rocket attacks by Palestinians are utterly criminal, but they can never justify the absurd Israeli response. For the record, Palestinian rockets killed a total of 8 people in the whole of 2008, Cast Lead alone killed between 1300-1400 people directly, not to mention displacement and future deaths due to the chemicals employed.

  • not you apparently in misrepresenting things in a biased light against Israel on purpose.

Hamas rained thousands of rockets and mortars targeting Israeli citizens indiscriminately for days. Israel warned it wouldn't tolerate it and would defend itself, called for an end to the terrorist attacks. Instead the attacks increased.

  • Funny mentioning Gaza.

Despite "disengagement," the Gaza strip remains sealed and surrounded by Israeli forces and walls.

Before Operation Cast Lead, Israel did not respect the accords made with the Palestinians. Both sides broke the truce, but Israel did so more than 2 times as much as the P's, then unleashed hell onto Gaza. They killed almost 1500 people and displaced thousands, used illegal weapons and attacked civilian and international targets.

    Who's trying to make peace?

  • Israel serves US interests in many ways. It serves as a lunchpad for invading other nations- except we don't even have to do it with our own troops, we just pay Israel the money, and they run around doing our invading. Israel and US are the same thing, ask any Arab. When Israel intimidates 3rd world countries, its the US that benefits. This keeps arab nations subservient to US corporations and bankers.

Weapons deals are NOT trivial, its one of the largest sectors of the Israeli economy.

  • i look at the issue from both sides. Israel has consistently reached out to its neighbors and defended itself from those who seek to destroy it. Its why they evacuated land in Gaza and are open to starting peace negotiations with no preconditions.

I would hardly call that taking land. I support Israel and peace with its neighbors. What more do you want?

Find me someone to make peace with.

  • I could agree on some points, but once again I must repeat that what makes the UN useless is the fact that major players in the international arena simply ignore its pronouncements.
