  • I remember in bootcamp in Diego everytime the marching passed in front of the commanding officers building they would break out in Anchors Aweigh. Always knew where the band was..

  • @billysr10 I'm agreed!

  • This is the best version of Anchors Aweigh I have ever heard from a marching band. Great job, keep up the good work. You make us all proud.

  • @masterevilalex01 Thank-you for serving our country!

  • Semper Fi

  • I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one to stand at "Anchor's Aweigh". =Stefan=

  • Happy 236th birthday to the US Navy!

  • Not bad, but when I was the piccolo player for Commander inChief, Atlantic Fleet Band (what later became the Fleet Forces Band) we played this without music. We never carried music or lyres, and had everything memorized that we played while standing in formation or on the march.

  • GOD BLESS THE NAVY AND THE SAILORS SET TO SEA!!!!!!

  • still gives me shivers, 25 years after the end of my enlistment. GO NAVY!
