Bought a $35 waterproof camera bag on eBay and tried it out at the beach this rather rainy weekend. No problems at all; nice not having to worry about sand ruining the lens as well! My Canon Powershot SD550 moved around inside a bit, which caused some "tunnel vision" shots. A small piece of styrofoam behind the camera solved the problem. Case is waterproof to 18 feet. Camera is a Canon Powershot SD550.

  • Canon SD550. Zooming is possible but not too easy through the bag. I've taken some much better video while snorkeling since I posted this test shot. DiCAPac also floats, which is awesome for being able to leave the camera on a kayak's deck without worry. The deepest I've taken the pack is 10' and I had no problems. Definitely a great buy!

  • Looks like a awesome place, where by a chance is this?

  • ? (assuming you just have to get one that fits the camer and lens)

  • does it still seal well? i just bought one

  • what camera were you using this with?

  • thanks for the test - i just got one of these myself.

  • hey did you try zooming. I was thinking of getting this but the zoom for canons are rockers around the shutter release button. Would it be hard to do zooming through the plastic cover?
