Fine Art Registry http://www.fineartregistry.com/ Truth to Power Series #38 - A fascinating article entitled "The Mark Of A Masterpiece" has just been published in the world renowned and highly respected magazine The New Yorker. Teri is grateful to the author David Grann for his fine work and for including some material and videos that were a result of the investigation that Fine Art Registry® conducted in reference to Peter Paul Biro and his amazing ability to discover fingerprints of the Masters on everything he examines. If a fingerprint is needed, he will find it. FAR® began its probe into Biro and his dealings back in 2007 with some amazing results. There are more questions raised here than answered, however there will be more revelations to come!

  • When I said "art community" I meant "art DEALER community"

  • My question is? Why try so hard to bring Mrs Horton and Mr. Biro down?

I watched the documentary and believe me, the advance age art connoisseur with a "Gran Dios" complex that seems to know everything about art (and everything else for that matter) certainly gives a negative image tours the viewer, and a bad name to the fine art experts community for his behavior.

All of this gives the impression that the art community is trying SO HARD to not loose absolute power.

  • While I agree that the New Yorker is "a very well-respected magazine" I suggest that it hasn't "been around since the nineteenth century" but rather began publication in the 1920s.
