If you actually read the lyrics to the song, its about two parents who are frightened about raising their children properly.
At first I listened to AC because it was trippy but the lyrics are actually really beautiful.

@youresoscenefag Yeah low grade acid and mushrooms possibly, real quality LSD isn't easy to get and it's effects are a bit different and more intense. I've seen Animal Collective several times. The drug connotations are nothing but sensationalism. While many people who listen to Animal Collective have probably used drugs at some point, I will say that true psychedelic drugs in particular do not mix well with loud, crowded, rock concert situations. One doesn't need them to enjoy the music.
