The Styx gives you amnesia just from touching it. I've lost plenty of characters in my 22 years of playing D&D to this effect during the 2nd edition years. I've played all editions.

Just as additional info: You can kill the other two zombies in the room you wake up in for bandages, with no consequences.

You should also talk to all of the zombies, you'll get xp sometimes for various things you can do with them.

Hey Dap what OS you running this on? I tried playing this on Windows 7 with no luck, Played a bit using a virtual machine (Win XP) but the game was unstable, had issues with saves and graphics. Looking forward to this LP :)

@stolpyn Windows XP Media Center Edition for some reason It works on that comp but not on my main comp which I'm at now which is the same OS, yeah makes no fucking sense!

Has this game, Baldur's gate games, Icewind Dale games, and temple of elemental evil(not so fond of this game). 5/6 not's so bad.

This has probably been mentioned already, but I'm not sifting through 8 pages :) the river you're thinking of isn't Styx, Styx is the river Charon ferries new souls across in ancient mythology...the river you're thinking of is Lethe, the waters of forgetfulness :)

Dap, the only time mythology mentions the effects of drinking from the river Styx is the time Zeus(what a bastard, really) forced another god to drink from it, resulting in voice loss for nine years. The river of memory loss is Lethe.

Just discovered this and have to say this: Please, please finish this game!

It is one of my favourite games and I'm endlessly frustrated by the numerous unfinished PST LPs floating around the net. :/
