I agree we're heading towards a global meta-government that self-organizes in cyberspace, and eventually evolves to set the agenda that all governments follow.
I'm guessing the designer gene that makes your dick bigger is going to sell a lot better than the one that makes your brain smarter. After all, it takes a rather clever brain to realize the utility of clever.

I agree with humanity having a certain resistance to manipulation. I think, though, humanity can only be seriously intimidated with fear of warfare, and disease, and with disease and warfare. But still, we will survive, provided with think, meditate, act, release ourselves of fear.

A crowd can also be munipuliplated.You can turn crowds on and off too. Just because a crowd believes something doesn't mean its true.
