I made this video in memory of my friend Matt. He had colon cancer and fought hard for 2 years. In July of 2007 it had spread all over his body and took his life. Cancer may have taken his life, but it didn't win. He beat it in a different way! He was a great friend and will be forever missed. We will not stop fighting until there is a cure for cancer.
All photos in this video were used with permission from Matt's family.
And in case you're wondering, yes I did cry! It took me several recordings to make it through the whole thing!

My father in law is battling colon cancer right now. Im sorry for your loss, so young, God must've needed him for something better. RIP

wow! I met Matt once at the inpatient school at Childrens. I'm a cancer survivor also. But when I stopped treatment, I never knew what happened to him. Thank you.

Sometimes I sit here at night and I miss you incredibly, Matt! I watch the video over and over and remember the good times we shared with one another. I still have your clay hand that I hold close to my heart (although I've stopped riding in wagons lol)! If I could do anything to bring you back I would :( I'm gonna make it big at relay again this year- that's for you my friend! I love you buddy! I know you're watching over me up there somewhere...
