I always liked rose doing the news on BBC ONE, not that keen on UTV.

They didn't renew her contract last year - some people thought at the time she was too old, and it followed BBC NI taking on many younger female newsreaders.
Good to see UTV having older women reading the news (Rose, Pamela, Gillian) who are invariably better than the younger ones.
Bad fading in/out at the start of this bulletin, and they even spelt Rose's surname wrong!
