The Italians of 2000 years ago were far more impressive, memorable, important and successful than the italians of today. I wonder if students studying history in Greece, Italy and Egypt ever look at each other amd say, "Look at us today. Who fucked up?"

I still don't think most people will ever appreciate the exten that the Roman Empire has shaped the modern world. Even with countries that weren't discovered in their time. If the Romans hadn't done what they'd done the world would be an entirely different place.

By the time of Constantine, the western empire had fallen to outside forces! Constantine only let christians floorish after the great christian slaughter of 303-305 AD.! He let it grow for a political move!! And the Roman empire was dying long before that from the inside, the senate!! Get your facts straight, dipshit!!
