  • Thats the nice thing about a v8 basic mods and its as fast as a built e85 evo and I bet it runs on pump gas lol.  anyways do you got any races with your friend with the vr4?

  • @coupe3kgt The evo was trying brake boosting for the first time and messed up. When he just takes off normally he gets the camaro by about 4 cars. Oh and the evo isnt built, the motor is completely stock lol just a few bolt ons and E. Also the camaro is on E85 as well now, as the days of 91 dino fuel are long gone up here. And the guy with the VR4 sold it a little over a year ago :( Although him and the camaro were even back when the camaro had 50 less whp than in this vid lol

  • @coupe3kgt My bad I thought this was posted on the other vid when the camaro raced the silver evo. Yes they were close, and yes both have basic mods and E. The Evo needs an O2 housing and more boost (and a trans that will go into gear right away lol) and the camaro needs....well a nice shot of nitrous haha

  • Yeah we have 94 octane at the pump, I usually get 91.  E85 is 94 octane or what?

  • @MaddDogg81 E85 is roughly 105 octane and it burns at 12,000BTU as opposed to gasoline's 20,000 BTU so it burns a lot cooler. Its stoich AFR is 9.8 though compared to gas's 14.7 so dont try to run it on the stock injectors, pump, or tune.

  • but the RSX had other disadvantages like more people and missing a gear. I'm glad i live in Canada where our premium gas seems very good

  • @MaddDogg81 Yes he did have a slight dissadvantage like a 115lb passenger and when he missed 5th we were already going 120+mph lol but yeah we will race again with the same amount of passengers. And your premium may be a tiny bit better, but its still nothing like E85. 93 octane is still very limited in the timing you can run.

  • @cocx88 Thanks man. Yeah him and I discussed it, he pulls a bit but then has to shift so he loses his momentum. After 135 there was no point in continuing lol

  • @MaddDogg81 Lower boost doesnt mean much when he is 11:1 compression and Im 9.5:1 lol but he is most likely around 390-400whp since it put down 360whp back on 91 octane piss water gas and the same boost. We will race again with him on 15psi for shits and giggles lol
