Not Pachelbel! My name is Michael Petiford. This is a video of me playing a four voice round derived from the rhythm of Row Row Row Your Boat. A round is the simplest form of "canonic imitation", the basis for the musical forms canon and fugue. Notice that as each voice enters, it is playing the exact same rhythm displaced first by one measure, then by two measures, and then three.
