I filmed this eagle ray swimming over the reef in front of Novotel hotel, Naama Bay, Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
At one point the ray is frightened by a splashing snorkeller, but it goes on to eat and glide gracefully through the water.
I swam with it for 10 minutes and was one of highlights of my time in Sharm.

sharm el sheik was my last holiday, awwwesome fish and stuff. there was loads of tentacleless jellfish, its so fun to catch them, unfortunate that they die in this type of water

That really is a great bit of filming! The eagle ray is a majestic animal as it moves effortlessly through the water.Sharm is a fantastic place to spend a couple of weeks isn`t it. Well Done!

Wow, that must have been amazing. What a privelidge to see an eagle ray and to film it for so long. I love the bit when it has been eating from the coral and then turns around to face you showing his white face. Great filming.
