Here is a vid of my broken Samsung DLP TV. It's about 3 years old, and started shutting off randomly a few months ago, now it won't come on at all. It just makes these noises. Any guesses as to what the problem is? I've heard bad color wheel, bad ballast, bad lamp, even bad power supply. I'm hoping someone can listen and narrow it down for me though, so I don't have to buy all of those and try them. Thanks.

  • My first guess was caps, but then again I was going on a general electronics guess on what iv found wrong with other things making similar a sounds.

  • Would the color wheel also make a horrid screetching/grinding noise while the TV is running? REALLY LOUD one?
