  • Awesome! Thank you!

    ps

Isn't there a way to connect the rode via the dock-connector for higher quality/compatibility?

  • @Ovrlast7 if you find it let me know. maybe!

  • huh? - it allows a xlr mic to be used with the iphone for audio into the iphone - recording from a quality mic rather than the onboard one. . .

  • might question might have came out wrong :)

what I meant was: How much difference in the audio is there going to be if you record with Rode mic + ipod or Rode mic + a video camera (eg sony vx series)

  • @ciencin think your missing the point as to what the adapter does. it's just a way to use an xlr microphone with the iphone to record better audio instead of using the internal microphone. it's got nothing to do with recording video on a video camera and xlr microphone. :)

  • I really need this cable badly, but the website is very strange and I can't find the cable. Could you send me the link please, it would help me out alot! :D

  • how the connectors are wired? I want to do a cable by myself.

  • Do you know the bit rate at which the iPhone records sound at? I have a similar setup and the best quality i can get is 32 bit sound recorded as a .wav or 16 bit recorded as a .aiff file. 48 bit or higher would be ideal do you know if that is possible?

  • I was just curious, how long is that is XLR cable?

  • where i fix the ntg 2 if id do a film?

    on the camera?

i have a canon hg21 and that have no xlr i think

im from germany thats why my egnlish is bad

  • Dude! *WHERE* did you get that? I *must* have this. I can't find where to buy the cable on that website.
