The Shadows - Life Story

Written by Jerry Lordan of many great instrumentals The Shadows recorded, they also did this, one of his last compositions for their Life Story album in 2004. A top 10 Double Cd UK Greatest Hits album and included this 'New' track produced by Warren Bennett, the first for 14 years by The Shadows. A very underrated track! but one as Hank said not one of of Jerry's best but a great one none the less. He was a fine writer and wrote Apache, Wonderful Land and many others. Enjoy!

Hi Andrew - It was good to have a "new release" almost from nowhere, after we all thought there would be no more. It's one of those you have to listen to a lot of times then it grows on you. Nice video as well - you must have an enormous library of photo's to call upon to make these. I like the way you post the unusual and not so well known tracks as well as the [popular ones. @random275 Thank You Phil very nice of you to say. Yes it was so nice to have a new track back then when they did their final tour. I wish they had played it on the tour too. I am wishing that The Shadows make a new album together soon! It be nice to have one more final album of new material from them too!

The shadows last original. Great track. And a good farwell song from the greatest instrumental band ever in Rock Pop music. Hank and the boys where just so unique, Miss them , but what a legacy they left behind.
