@smoke360ful Operant conditioning isn't the same thing as observational learning. Modeling behavior can be explained by operant conditioning, but its not the same thing. Operant conditioning occurs when the rate of behavior is altered directly from a response to that behavior. Modeling occurs when the rate of behavior is altered indirectly from a response to observed behavior, the emotional reaction to the observation is reinforced.
B.F. Skinner is a sick bastard his system as well as the Pavlovian conditioning and speacialized operant conditioning ( observational learing) which is just modeling behavior is be implemented on your children right now not to teach them but to train them. you can google "THE DEATH OF FREE WILL
" to get a better understanding. also checkout this youtube video :/watch?v=F1wVB8gBkD8 and this one /watch?v=Cfb6yNEs8hs
reinforcement requires multiple trials, very rarely is behavior shaped by one trial. you should have put each reinforcement demonstration in a really fast repeating loop to indicate your knowledge of the necessary repetition required to shape behavior. BF skinner also defines negative reinforcement as punishment in Beyond Freedom and Dignity, perhaps he changes this definition in his technical writings?
One of the best explanation to a very complicated topic. Your role play made me understand the concept and I am not gonna forget it. Thanx ladies, wonderful job!! I wish you could upload such videos for all the Behavioural topics, I'd rather see your video than going thru the book, which makes it so complicated.
Im studying education in Australia and have been trying to do my report for days. I have read so many books and online journals but after watching your 7 minute video it all made complete sense!! Thank you soo much :)
@jamesanton1231 I really don't understand what you are trying to say.

Well the first example didn't feel right. The last three examples worked for me but the Hooters Girls were too corny for this red blooded male.
