I'm curious when did networks stop doing these elaborate music videos every fall premiere? I kind of miss them, no matter how cheesy they were.

@rangerdave1973 CBS wasn't in the toilet by any means at this point,but they weren't as strong because a lot of their long time shows and sitcoms ended in 1985.ABC & NBC sure were in a neck-to-neck battle then.

Benson and The Love Boat were in thier final seasons during the 1985-86 season.I didn't realize that Moonlighting premiered during this season as well.

Am looking for anybody who can put up the LAST show of 1994's ABC-TV
"Byrds of Paradise". It was called "Da Play's Da Ting", a sendup of Shakespeare.
Thought that somebody from ABC-TV might even be posting on YouTube. Jennifer
Love Hewitt collectors have sought that episode for YEARS. Was only aired in
Hawaii. NOBODY has ever put up the complete episode. Thanks.

Moonlighting was my favorite show till the characters got together, cause the fighting between them the first 2-3 seasons was what was funny. (boink boink) I even shaved my hair back a little just to look like Bruce Willis with his receding hairline. Sad I know. (Now I look like that all the time.) Fantasy Island must have been off the air at this time. Love Boat and Fantasy was a good TV for 2 hours. Mr. Belvedere I watched, & Benson was great. (I still hear you.)
