  • @IRONSEAN7 Except now. Finland - Russia WC 2011 Semifinal game Mikael Granlund scores same way from the other side of the net while moving. That's much harder to do when moving at the same time, but he did it, and the russian goalie could do nothing but stand there and look stunned. Beautiful goal to the upper corner of the net.

  • also...it's actually EASIER to get the puck up on your stick while you are moving forward. Thank you, physics.

  • Pay respect to the man who was the first and original to score a Lacrosse-style hockey goal, Bill Armstrong, from London Ontario Canada. Very highly-touted, (see OPC 1991-92 #36) until injury limited his play. The Whole Package. Watch him drop the gloves in Youtube vids and also score some lacrosse-style goals (the first and best). Played with Legg & showed him the move

  • ...the very first lacrosse style goal in a important game of the hockey history...woww

  • he should be in the Hockey hall of fame ,,, JUST For that goal!

  • @opaali777

Not really. Granlund lets it skip onto his blade. Legg does a lot more work by actually picking the puck up from a dead stop. Try it. It's freakin hard. Perry did something similar in the Skillz.

  • TBH this goal is better than that 2011 game cause he was 1: the first to do it 2: its colledge so hes not even pro yet 3: Its Michigan doing it

  • @DoomDodgers LOL fuck off haha its funny cuz there is no actual "Finnish" thing. There is either swedish or russian. rofl

  • @GazetaRapid1 Yes? Your point? Most of those elite of the finnish society who declared independence from Russia were swedish speaking finns. Most of whom got their names from before Finland was a Russian grand duchy. Hundreds of years of Swedish influence isnt going to go away with just barely 100 years of Russian rule. So i'd take my uneducated little comments elsewhere if i were you.

  • you fuckin idiots with "o rly" trynna be all tough and shit, he posted that comment 2 years ago. And Mikael Granlund is 100% swedish name so go on and be proud to be a finn fuckin little cunt.

  • @IRONSEAN7 well look at granlund! proud to be a finn!
