The short film tells the story of Richard who has just been in a major car crash. He is in the hospital waiting to hear if his girlfriend who was passenger will live or die. In the waiting room he must confront himself and work out what really happened.
Faultline was made as part of Screen Yorkshire's Caught Short Focus program. It is designed to give filmmakers a chance to write and make low budget shorts. Faultline was written, cast Monday, rehearsed Tuesday, shot Wednesday, edited Thursday and screened Friday. (It was a hell of a week!) On a budget of £200.
Since being one of the winners of the CSH program Faultline has been screened at the Leeds/Bradford international film festival and a number of other film festivals in and around London.
