Jackie's songs from the 70's are often non political, but here's an exception. The repeating, beautiful melody, along with the lyrics, makes "West Virginia Mine" one of her most important songs ever. The song was included on her low fi (yeah, she was first when it comes to that genre, too) album, "Songs", from 1971.

  • Well I'm really sorry about this. I didn't even listen to the song. I thought that post was between me and my friend, who I was mad at and I was just trying to get him going. I'm so sorry about that. I should be more careful in the future!
