  • I figured I could type "New Order Confusion" into Youtube and find this version fairly easily, but it seems everyone else is obsessed with the Pump Panel Reconstruction Mix from 1995. Had to add "1983" into the search. Really makes me wonder if any of the fans of the Pump Panel mix have ever even heard this version.

  • @MrSmeckles And this is the best version ever!!! thanks for the appreciate

  • @ANNYESS Indeed. The first version I heard was actually the Pump Panel version, though at the time I didn't know what it was. I just knew it was from the Blade Soundtrack. Then I heard the 1987 version some years later and liked that. But now I really enjoy this one. I think I saved the best version for last. :D

No problem, and thank you for making this available. I think this is the only version of this song on Youtube.

  • @MrSmeckles there are a couple of vids of this version here on youtube and the clip too, but im glad you appreciate my upload thanks ...check out my other videos and tell me if you like them if it isn't so you can lie LOL

  • The original and best version! 27 years old but sounds better than ever...

  • @djh29971 New Order and the DJ Arthur Baker are amazing!

  • @coetmor ONLY New Order could make that cool!

  • @MrSmeckles Theres so many remixes, many of which are awesome. BUT none of them send shudders up yer spine. These guys changed the world, and mebbe cos of nutty mr wilson, they were famous in their own time, unlike say the velvets, the stooges or a few others. Intense! still only 4 mins in. Thanks ANNYESS!

  • Best version.Bought it back in the days.Greets from The Haque,Holland.

  • Whoever posted this original '83 version on here, thanks!!!!!!!! The moment I started playing it,I ended up poppin'. Lol.

  • Funny reading all of the comments on here, thinking EXACTLY the same thing. I thought this would be the easiest version to find on youtube, but I had to wade through tons of crappy speed-remixes before finding the original 12" remix. Thank you for posting this!

  • OMG, i got the same edition in my collection, just looking at the cover image made me shiver =)

BTW i at first also ended up with the "Pump Panel" shit... was dissapointed... i'll try to add a link to this upload so all the youngsters listening to that version gets to hear what it should sound like.... Pump Panel... ... Bah!

  • @MrSmeckles pump panel remix sucks nothing like NO

  • Ra cha cha, chachacha Hey!!!!!!!!!

  • The definitive version - thanks for posting. May you have strength +8

  • I like Hot Chip a lot, but they almost owe their whole sound to this. I hope they do a cover....
