You know, I really like all the tracks that didn't release with the game as well as the added tracks for the system ports. And having you translate them into what it would be on the original cart is invaluable.
Awesome, work man.

What do you mean, "not legally allowed to respond"? That doesn't make any sense to me... Yes, Square-Enix owns the music, why couldn't Mr. Mitsuda respond with some kind of feedback, even if just a simple "I like/hate it. Thank you."?

@tssf But this song composed by Tsuyoshi Sekito, not Yasunory Matsuda.

@tssf Well geez, you answered the next part of my question too
That's one less thing to be curious about now I guess :)
I like it alot, btw.

Wish I could make stuff like this. Awesome work!

Your work is truly an inspiration I have the imagination to make music like this too but lack the skills you master to get your ideas out in reality an issue I still struggle with. I only hope one day with time I'd be able to share my ideas for music and return the favour, keep up the great work!

It's a shame it didn't appear in the SNES version, because it sounds like it was made for it. That's how good your recreation of the piece is using the SNES instruments. Excellent work.
If I say something like sleepyyay, does it ring any bells to you?

@LordTyphoon It means a toy piano playing the later half of one of the ending songs from the original CT..that I used as a demo for that instrument that ended up going to be a little melody played during some "down times" in the CR demo.

I tagged Mr. Mitsuda on Facebook with this song, so hopefully he will hear it.. I don't think he's legally allowed to respond to it (that or he just doesn't speak english well enough to comment)
I'd be happy if he even responded in japanese.
