Flow thru my all-time top 10 favorite inversion poses to do on a yoga swing. Use a theraband stretchy band, belt, tie or yoga strap if you need additional help to REACH on binds. Best for intermediate to advanced level fitness practitioners with good kinesthetic awareness.
1) reverse BOW pose belly up, bind hands to feet
2) one-legged PIGEON pose bind to ankle/shin or hook elbow to knee
3) full KING PIGEON pose 1-legged bind hand to foot
4) SCORPION handstand hands on ground
5) KAPOTASANA deep backbend 2-legged hands to feet
6) BOUND ANGLE BUTTERFLY palms interlaced behind back
7) WHIRLING BUTTERFLY bound angle with ROTATION
8) BOW pose belly down feet on swing supports ankle bind
9) INVERTED HANG core balance straight arms
10) PLOW pose inverted pike balance
#9 hands are wrapped twice around strapping
# 9 and #10 were not held long enough to see well

approaching bind from this perspective less traumatic & gives me enough
free space to "hang on" but am on the edge, barely there.... deep back bend :--))
working closer to the real deal belly down on floor.
